I want to be where the people are!

I saw the following meme on the internet a couple of weeks ago, and I identified with it so much with my extrovert in isolation lifestyle. Plus I have always loved Ariel and that song. This meme made me laugh!

Then I started to think about much the entire song strikes a chord with me right now, with its list of longing, some of the wishes feeling pretty close to home during this time of social distancing and quarantines. Dancing! Walking around! People!!

So channeling Ariel and her longing to connect…

I did my best singing mermaid impression and gave “Part of Your World” the old ‘musical theatre major’ college try. 😉
